Caught

So.... after many glimpses and a lot of produce bitten into, we have finally caught the culprit. The groundhog had burrowed directly in the middle of Beth's garden. We used our Have a Heart trap with some apples to catch him. He is really small for a groundhog so we are hoping it was a juvenile that was kicked out of it's own burrow and transplanted here rather than a baby with a mom and siblings around. I will probably reset the trap tonight and tommorow to make sure. This little guy will be finding his home somewhere else this afternoon.

Denali doesn't know quite what to think and we don't really want her too close to it.

No Zucchini planted. It did get a lot of the squash including the spaghetti squash as well as some cucumbers, our pumpkins and I'm sure some beans, tomatoes and peppers. It was really doing a number on things. It is now loving life out in a wooded area near Arrowhead Lake. Live on Brother!!
