grumble

Well after having the men get wiped by Syracuse, We see the women destroy the Wisconson Badgers (didn't even realize they had a school up there) only to fall to Notre Dame. Then to top it off, UVM hockey gets bumped in the first round of the playoffs. I forget who they lost to. :)

REMATCH

LOL Not sur if I'm psychic or what. Should be fun Syracuse vs. UVM. Good luck Cats. You'll need it. I was only going to play one set of brackets, but I might need to have another for sentimental picks.

Congratulations to the Catamounts for returning to the dance. Good story there with one of the players losing his mom last week and now beating Bostun University to make it to the tourney. My guess is that if the organizers have any sense of having fun they will set them up as a #16 against a #1 syracuse for a rematch of 2005 when Taylor C, TJ Sorrentine and the boys laid a wupa$$ on the orangemen in round one and shocked everyone. (by the way, I have no illusions about how UVM will fare this year.

The women play in Hartford tonight to see if they can make it to the tourney, and The mens hockey plays game 2 of 3 against UNH tonight after last nights loss in the hockey East playoffs.

Well, lets see if I can get this video up. This is for a song that I looked at for the first time yesterday. Never heard it before so it's pretty rough. Didn't pick up the guitar as well as I wanted and highlighted my "yuck" voice more than I wanted but oh well. Be nice and if it isn't good go ahead and close out.

ISS

Got to see the International space station this evening at 6:34. What was neat was on a perpindicular arc there was a satalite. Neat seeing two space objects at once.. (unless the other was a UFO???????)

no coyotes

We didn't have any coyote visitors last night, however thecamera worked fine and we did have a little traveler pass by. Looks like Morris of 9-lives fame.

stupid widget

Sorry Folks if you've had trouble with my site. I had that guitar widget which had some bad code take over. It was a pain in the rear to get rid of. I actually had to look and find it in the HTML code. Keep in mind I have no idea how to write or work with this code. As you can see though, I was successful.

Well after two straight nights hearing the coyotes, I'm going to set up the camera tonight. We have a little old shepards pie we'll put out as bait and see what happens. If we get anything I'll post.

Night Visitors

So I took Denali out last night. Her ears perked up and we started to hear some coyotes barking/howling just back in between us and the water treatment plant. They got progressively louder and closer until they sounded like they wer back behind where we store the canoes. It sounded like at least 4 or 5 of them. We high tailed it inside.

Hopefully this weekend we'll get our animal cam that Pete and Paula got us up and maybe we'll get some night pics.
