New Hampshire

Beth and I had a wonderful time yesterday heading to North Conway. It was gorgeous heading out, but got overcast for the return trip. Big snow today. expecting 4-12 of the heavy stuff, however so far we have had 3 inches of light fluffy snow. Very pretty.

Doctors

So Monday Prep,

Tues. fun with the GI doc

and today.. well starting last Thursday I noticed swelling on the inside (heel) of my right wrist with slight pain. After a week I decided to go in today... of course the doctor had no idea so I went in for x-rays. In my own internet research I think it has to do with the pisiform bone. My hope is it is just a bruise that will eventually heal, however I'll have to wait to hear back from the Dr. If it is broken, or misplaced there is a good chance I would need need wrist surgery. Which although it's for an area that is only causing slight irritation now, would mean substantial wrist immobilization if surgery were to be required. Not fun for a teacher. Oh well.

By the way, Big thanks to everyone from Beth. She had a great day sitting in the hospital yesterday and then class last night. Our hope is to get out and enjoy vacation starting tonight... tomorrow. Maybe a trip somewhere......

All right dad,

looking at Paula's blog and the whole Cullins thing got me thinking. I'm trying to remember the different places we used to go for our monthly camping outings. I can remember clearly : Cullins, Camp Aquila, Putnam "Park?" and I remember heading to the ghost town "Dudleytown" (although I'm not sure if we camped there.) I also remember some of the special trips like West Point, and sleeping atop the Empire State Building.
I remember Hiking the AT through parts of Connecticut (bear Mountain) and I think we even hit Mass.
So the question is... where else did we go? I remember one place that had a hike to a very long abandoned train tunnel and a few other places but I'm not sure where they were.

LIPDUB

So the weekend finally arrives. I've hinted and now can share. This Sunday before the Superbowl I will be at school participating in our schools' LipDub. Should be fun. Not sure when the final product will be put on youtube. As far as I know we will be the first high school in Vt.
