camping

All right dad,

looking at Paula's blog and the whole Cullins thing got me thinking. I'm trying to remember the different places we used to go for our monthly camping outings. I can remember clearly : Cullins, Camp Aquila, Putnam "Park?" and I remember heading to the ghost town "Dudleytown" (although I'm not sure if we camped there.) I also remember some of the special trips like West Point, and sleeping atop the Empire State Building.
I remember Hiking the AT through parts of Connecticut (bear Mountain) and I think we even hit Mass.
So the question is... where else did we go? I remember one place that had a hike to a very long abandoned train tunnel and a few other places but I'm not sure where they were.

LIPDUB

So the weekend finally arrives. I've hinted and now can share. This Sunday before the Superbowl I will be at school participating in our schools' LipDub. Should be fun. Not sure when the final product will be put on youtube. As far as I know we will be the first high school in Vt.

Un freakin believable

All right, so I took today off to get some rest. Great idea. I'm really starting to feel better. I still have my cough and a little runny nose but not bad. So of course I decide to go out and get the mail today. First step down the deck and whoosh. Both feet go up in the air and I come down HARD back first right on the stairs. Wicked pain, sore back and now I'm sitting in a school desk chair finishing one of my grad classes. Brutal. The only thing worse is going to be how much more it will hurt the next couple of days.

still here

Wow, seems like forever since I last posted. It's Sat morning and I'm in the process of getting ready for class. Starting yesterday morning I started to get the chest itch. It is now full blown aches, slight fever and a deep cough. Thank god for dayquil. 3:00 can't come fast enough.

Beth has also begun her program and will be meeting for her classes on Tuesday evenings. I'm happy for her but sad that I'll miss a night a week with her. :)

Here are a few pics. Skiing was from last Wednesday, before the warm spell hit. It has since cooled off again and the snow is a fallin'.

The guitar and Amp are my "Big Xmas" Presents. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Beth. It is a Squier 50's Classic Vibe Stratocaster in "Lake Placid" Blue along with the Roland 30x Amp.

It sounds great, although is a bit of a change from the accoustics I have been playing. I am a happy camper right now.
