Happy Bday

Yesterday we had a fun time celebrating a Birthday. We went to the movies and finally saw "The Blind Side". We really enjoyed it. Afterwards we headed home and took our little girl for a walk out in the fields behind the town office. We took the kite we got from the Schlax clan this X-mas. With very minimal wind we got it to go up for a bit, however it wasn't quite enough to stay up, but considering there was VERY little wind, it worked great. Ended the day with cake, icecream and lots of calls from family.

Today we are going to zip over to Plattsburgh to hit some stores over across the pond.

My cough is getting better, regardless of what others are saying. I'm the one with it so I should know.

Almost ready to get out and do active stuff outside. Maybe snowshoing later this week.

Sorry it's been so long. We are gearing up for Feb. break. I can't seem to kick the illness bug. Ifeel great for 4-5 days and then bam it hits gain, head cold, light fever, and then 4-5 day of a chest cold. I reallyshould see a doctor, but I'm stubborn and ain't so bright. Oh well.

We enjoyed a visitfrom my sis, my nieces and 2 of their friends. It was a great visit and Denali enjoyed the attention, once she got used to everyone.

ECAC

Wow... did I see it right that Clarkson Hockey got shallacked by Union 11-2? Not to start controversy here but boy that's stinky, and I thought UVM was struggling this year. I have to say the move to Hockey East was great for our program in terms of recruitment and talent, although the competition has seemed significantly tougher than when they were in ECAC (although they struggled there too).

weekends go too fast

Good luck to the Colts tonight. This weekend was pretty nice, but it felt like it went by way too fast. Denali's doing well, Ignore the red eye. She isn't a devil dog. Beth is getting closer to having her portfolio ready. We can't wait till that's done.
