Fair

No pics today but we went to the Champlain Valley Fair. Had a great time. Our favorite part as aways were the animals. They had the cutest lil bunny rabbits. I don't think Denali would approve of them though.

After the Fair we headed to Kohls to use the Kohl dollars we got last weekend when we went school shopping.

Plans for tomorrow include a workout at the gym then taking the boat out for a picnic on the lake.

Drive

Had a nice drive last night. The pics are from our cell phone so the quality is't fantastic. We're ready for the weekend. I can't believe we're back at work.

Boatride

On a wet a miserable day, two wonderful young people travelled across the pond to a small town found in the burg of Platts. whereupon they embarked on a journey to outwit all the visitors from yon Northern Country in spending their money to purchase hockey literature and clothing. Merryment ensued and when they triumphantly returned home these heroes were welcomed with yelps of joy from their 4 legged charge with the name deserving of a mountain.

translated: we went to plattsburgh, dealt with the Canadiens shopping at the mall and headed home to feed Denali. Oh yeah the weather sucked.

Picnic

We packed up a nice picnic lunch today and headed North. We went to Isle La Motte, which is on the border of VT. NY. and Canada. We had lunch on the Lake at Saint Anne's Shrine. This is an outdoor church . Very Beautiful location. (We actually considered this for our wedding years ago). It was a lot of fun. If the weather holds we are thinking about a campfire tonight.

Bummed

I can't believe we're already here. Beth goes in for her first in service today (Tues). This summer was great between the good weather, visiting with family, camping and day trips, and I'll be honest. I'm not ready to go back but such is life. My first in service is next week so I'll have to keep myself occupied the next few days.

It was a good sunburn day out in the boat on the lake. Today it's "get stuff done" around the house. Turkey dinner is cooking as I write this.

Beantown

Had a fun day in Boston today. Great food including some fantastic cannoli's from the Italan North End.

Back to work tomorrow to get some summer curriculum work done.

Survivor

Guess who's going to be on Survivor this next season....

Cherry

We had a beautiful day today. Mowed the lawn, cleaned up the canoe, played the guitar and enjoyed a great grilled steak dinner with a nice cherry pie Beth made.

The only downside was for Denali who is in the middle of her invisible fence training. She is starting to get skittish around me and isn't psyched to go outside and play. I feel so bad when she gets the zap, On the plus side I KNOW it's working and she is learning quick.
